Very Good Company to Deal with' We purchased a Roketa MC-51 250cc Street bike and I plan on buying another motorcycle from them for my son! Thank You.. James Linderman
I needed some parts for my JL250P. The seller I originally purchased the bike from no longer sells them. After some searching, I found Thrifty Scooters. They were able to order the parts I needed, shipped them promptly. I'm very happy. I will definitely do business with them in the future.
Motobravo MP-150 LKY
I love the bike. I have put about 30 miles a day on it since I got it and no problems what-so-ever. My only regret is that I took so long to order it and its getting cold now!
Roketa-64 300cc ATV repair
I went to JR with all kinds of issues with my Roketa atv-64 Sport 300cc that I purchased used from someone and never even got a chance to ride it in good condition. I had issues with the starter the rear shock was blown and it was falling apart and everything on it was loose. After looking at the atv for me JR assured me it would work like a totally different machine after he was done with it. After finding all the parts for the ATV at a very fair price JR asked me to bring it in. He fixed everything for me and I got the atv back the next day! I have tested my atv it just around the neighborhood and so far it DOES ride like a totally different machine. I plan
on taking it out this weekend and tearing it up I am confidant I wont have any more problems.... This IS THE MAN TO GO TO FOR FOR ALL YOUR OUTDOOR TOYS! I AM IMPRESSED!
Thanks JR, You were an awesome help in locating the body parts I needed. Very quick shipping also!!
I purchased a part that was rather large, cumbersome and expensive to ship. JR went the extra mile and delivered the part himself to a destination that was within driving distance so I could avoid the extra shipping expense. His customer service went above and beyond all expectations! Love working with you JR.. thank you so much!

Jonaway YY250T parts
For the past month I have been trying to find parts for my Jonway YY250T scooter, after laying it dowm to avoid crashing into a cager that ran a red light. Thrifty Scooters really came through for me, I had been searching the internet trying to find all the parts I needed. Thrifty Scooters had everything that I had to have to repair my scooter. What was neat, was having the boss, JR, personally help me in my quest to repair my scooter, this really means a lot to me. When the day comes to buy my next scooter, Thrifty Scooters will get my business. John Ried
DB-07 200cc Enduro
Got the bike on Friday. It arrived in perfect shape, the metal frame inthe box took a hit, but in a good place where it could not have hit thecontents. The only damage I noticed was that the front axle bolt wasslightly bent, which I noticed only when turning it, but it didn't seemto affect installation fit or performance so I didn't worry about it. Anyway, bottom line, the bike is awesome! I followed all instructions andcarefully put it all together over two days including tightening/checkingall bolts, using loctite including on the front axle and lower suspensionlinks, changing the oil, oiling the air filter and adjusting/testing allcables and electrics. Fired it up yesterday and put 13 slow and carefulbreak in miles on it riding it around the self storage facility. It ridesbeautifully and has great power, sound feel etc. I'm not sure how long itwill last but right now it feels and rides to me just a like a Honda. Infact, I have to say I'm generally quite impressed with the quality of themost of components. The only exceptions are the gas cap and the headlightwhich appear a little crude, but no complaints. One additional thing, Inoticed some websites had a line in the specs for remote start/remotealarm and all listings I saw said "no", but guess what, this one hasboth, including two key fobs with lock/unlock, start, and alarm and theyall work great! You should probably include that in your listings, if you can rely on it. On a side note: the box had a correct color picture ofthe bike, but listed the "ITEM NO." as "RDZ-200-BLACK AND WHITE (DB-07H).On the web the RDZ appears to be a dirt only bike, so once again it seemslike the Chinese are still working on model designations but in this caseit all turned out well. Overall I'm very satisfied, thought you shouldknow. Thx, JTW
I was a little nervous about ordering a motorcycle on line, but with the help of J.R. I was very comfortable after talking with him.The bike came all packed up like they say. There was not a single scratch,I was very pleased with the service and would recommend thrifty scooters to anyone looking to buy a bike or scooter over the internet. The assembly was rather simple and any questions I had J.R. was available either by phone or e-mail.Thanks again Bill Casper williamstown N.J.
Contacted JR for a seat for my scooter, he made me a great deal, ensured I was gonna get the right one and it was shipped fast and well packaged.
I purchased an instrument cluster from Thrifty Scooters for my Motobravo Paparazzi 150 to replace the original. Installed it and found the speedometer/odometer didn't work. Emailed JR to return the new unit. However, JR suggested I make some tests first before I went to the expense of returning the unit.
Ran the tests and everything looked good. Further emails with JR got me thinking and I discovered the speedometer was only sluggish. After working with it, it improved to the point of providing accurate readings.
JR saved me a lot of time and expense. He was unusually responsive and helpful. In my experience this kind of help and service is very unusual. I will certainly buy all of my needed parts from Thrifty Scooter.

Step 1: Place scooter on parking stand (stand is located towards the rear of scooter next to kick starter).
Step 2: Put key into ignition and turn it to the (on) position. Note: Make sure kill switch is in the (on) position.
Step 3: Put unleaded gas into scooter (premium gas recommended). Note: Make sure you have the fuel line connected to the carburetor. It is located on the left side of the bike underneath the seat. There is a compartment that exposes the carburetor and what you are looking for will be either a brass nub 3/4 of an inch long or a hollow nub. You may not see it, however, you should be able to feel it if you are standing on the left side of the bike.
Step 4: Kick start scooter 6-7 times to build compression. Note: Do not pull on throttle or it will flood the carburetor.
Step 5: Now use the electric start (hold in rear left brake lever and press button on right that looks like lightening bolt). Hold for 3-4 seconds. Note: Do not hold it in any longer than 5 seconds at a time or you will burn the starter.
Step 6: Repeat sequence 6-7 times.
Step 7: Once started, adjust idle speed if needed. Note: To adjust idle lift up seat and in engine compartment on the top towards the farthest side of the carburetor, is a Gold Phillip screw attached onto a spring. Turn clockwise until it is set to your preference.
Fortunately, one does not need to be mechanically-inclined to assemble the vehicles. Most vehicles are 85% - 95% assembled. The typical requirements are installations of the front wheel, side mirrors, battery, and trunk.

We have been selling atv's for 15years and in that time we have only sold 2 50cc atv's. The reason is that the child quickly learns how to ride the atv and can't even climb out of a gutter on the sidewalk. The 90 cc and the 110 cc sell more to young riders. All 90 and 110cc atv’s have a safety throttle governor. This device is all well and good if the child doesn't listen. The important thing to understand is its all about training. The more time you spend training your child the more pleasure they will have with the ATV and the happier you will be with your purchase.
By training we mean the following:
1. Practice stopping and starting and make games out of it, like stopping on a line with the rear wheels touching and stopping on the line with the front wheels touching. spread out the lines until they have a football field of distance between lines.
2. Making a circular track. This will make your child slow down automatically around corners instead of you telling them to slow down.
Remember if you tell them they will not listen. If you make a game out of it they will learn control on their on terms.
